Enable Donations
Go to your Bleppy account and enable donations by creating a connected account with Stripe. Make sure to complete the entire onboarding process. It will take you only a few minutes.
create a Profile
Use your FREE Bleppy account to create a beautiful profile for a pet in need or available for adoption. Add photos and tell about their life. You can also create a shelter profile to receive donations as well.
List Expenses
When creating a pet profile, you will be prompt to list their monthly expenses. A standard pet profile can receive up to $1,000 monthly in donations. Shelter profiles can receive up to $99,999 monthly.
Spread the Word
Let people know about your pet or shelter by sharing their profile. Once in the app, anyone will be able to click the gift button and donate.

To receive donations you’ll need both a Stripe account and listed expenses for your pets, shelter or rescue. Start creating a Bleppy account. Login to your account, and from your profile, click in “Enable Donations”. You’ll be redirected to the Stripe onboarding page. Complete the onboarding process. When the process is completed, Stripe will notify us and in a few minutes your account should be ready to receive donations. Remember to list your pets’, shelter’s or rescue’s expenses when creating their profile.
Each pet profile can receive up to $1,000 monthly and each shelter or rescue can receive up to $99,999 monthly. An additional limit may be available in case of an emergency.
It’s free to enable donations for your pets, shelter, or rescue. However, from each transaction, an administrative fee will be deducted. This fee depends on the subscription plan you’re in. Freemium accounts pay 15% of the transaction, Premium accounts pay 10% and Pro accounts pay 7%.
Example in a Pro account:
When someone gives a $10 donation and you have a Pro account, you’ll receive $9.30.
Once a week you’ll receive a direct deposit to the bank account you set when creating your Stripe Account. It’s important that you provide correct and valid information so everything runs smoothly as it should.
Id checks are required for all guardians that raise $100 on the platform. It takes less than 2 minutes and helps us keep Bleppy a safe space for everyone. To verify your Id, click here and follow the steps.
Yes! Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
